I was not expecting to find !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ! The 2005 and 2006 GranSports are the best used Maseratis, period. There were 180 individually numbered MC Victory editions produced and I believe 50 were imported to the US. One of the most severely underrated cars of this millenium is the 4200.

I wouldn’t touch that transmission with a ten foot pole.

That interior color scheme is awesome, but the car itself is a piece of shit. The best Maserati is the Chrysler TC, because it;’s not a real Maserati. The best thing about the TC is that it’s not a real Maserati

I really love the look of these and salivate at the depreciation curve. That being said I couldn’t bite the bullet and buy one without a Doug to Demuro style warranty.

Can’t believe I missed this. My rich friend has a regular GranSport and an MC Victory. I love these cars (and their sound) so much. Transmission problems are over-rated. If you get the formula dynamics programing and drive the car correctly, you will have no problems. My friend says he gets about 1% clutch wear per 1000 miles. His regular GranSport (red) had the clutch replaced at ~75k miles because of a broken spring. It was only like $2500 at the dealer.

With a PPI and the right maintenance, these can be great cars.

Here is his MC with his 328, scud, and GT4

The Gransport is a fantastic car and the best kept secret when it comes to an exotic Italian car with actual ease of ownership. Maserati is by far the most misunderstood and misrepresented brand in the industry. Your friend is all of my goals and has great taste!

Agreed. One day I’ll have a car collection that cool. One down, about 8 more to go haha.

I might need to put the GS back on my list for potential DD’s. We’ll see how well they are still aging in 2-3 years though.
